Evidence for the Resurrection of Jesus from the Dead

There are many similarities among world religions concerning positive ways to treat one another, positive self-talk about a person, public service to others, and the like. The founders of the different religious faith systems are often given grant reverence by their followers. However, all these religious leaders shared a common trait: they all died. For nearly a decade, I taught a comparative religions course. I delved into their teachings and writings as I shared that knowledge with my college students.

Only one leader (or servant as you might say) rose from the dead. That was Jesus Christ. He was more than a legend in this regard. There is evidence to support His resurrection from the dead. Following are some of the most highly-regarded scholars who have investigated the claims of this resurrection. These are Youtube videos.

<Drs Josh and Sean McDowell> Josh McDowell as a college student investigated the claims about Jesus and His resurrection from the dead. Josh was a doubter until he began to discover the evidence. His most popular book is Evidence That Demands a Verdict. His son Sean has followed in his footsteps by investigating the claims about Jesus as well. Between the two of them, they have authored over one hundred books.

<J. Warner Wallace> Wallace was a Los Angeles Detective specializing in homicide cold cases. His cases have been featured on Dateline, FOX News, and Court TV. An avowed atheist for his first 35 years, he turned his investigative skills to the claims of the resurrection of Jesus from the dead. As a result of the evidence, he became a believer. His most popular book is Cold-Case Christianity.

<Lee Strobel> Strobel was the former award-winning legal editor of the Chicago Tribune. As an atheist, he began to use his investigative skills to study the evidence about Jesus and found his personal faith through the evidence. His most popular book is The Case for Christ. New books are the Case for Heaven and the Case for Miracles.
