Service, and Scholarly Work

A common part of a university professor’s work file are written statements that provide a summary of their efforts regarding teaching, service, and scholarly work. These short documents help others to make sense of the professor’s work activities and plans for the future. The following four documents have been updated after my retirement from the University of Minnesota to describe past activities, current activities, and plans for the future. An additional written statement is included in this collection. It is my personal faith statement about my identity as a Christ follower. The statement helps to explain the motivations revealed through the other three statements.
